dc.description.abstract | It is not the case that two times may always be substituted by twice (and three times by thrice). This may be done when time has a frequency or quantity sense, not when it refers to temporal location. And, although both frequency and quantity senses of time may be used in a comparative construction, the sequence two plus times is not always replaceable by twice. This is only possible when two and times belong to the same constituent. | pl_PL |
