,,Niemiecka i polska miłość” – Motyw miłości i jego treściowe powiązania w niemieckiej literaturze XIX wieku (1815-1918)

| dc.description.abstract | [pol.]Badania nad niemiecką literaturą dziewiętnastowieczną chociaż prowadzone są pod wieloma aspektami przez literaturoznawców i nie tylko, nie zajmowały się dotąd w szerokim słowa tego znaczeniu motywem miłości polskiej i niemieckiej w literaturze. Temat pojawiał się w rozdziałach prac, artykułach, szkicach naukowych, ale nie poświęcono im większej uwagi. Zasadniczym punktem wyjścia było skonfrontowanie się z pojęciem, którego źródło biło z książki Fritza Döringa (1872-1918) Niemiecka i polska miłość. (Deutsche und polnische Liebe [1903]). Najpiękniejszą i zarazem najtragiczniejszą historią miłosną XIX w. jest historia uczucia, które wiązało Polkę Elizę Radziwiłłównę (1803-1834), w tekstach zwaną Elisa Radziwill, oraz następcę tronu pruskiego księcia Wilhelma (1797-1888). Jej pochodzenie zdaniem rodziny królewskiej nie było równe urodzeniu, by zostać żoną Wilhelma. W pracy analizowano ciekawe pozycje, w których stereotypowy obraz Polki (,,pięknej Polki”, ,,amazonki”, ,,kokoty”) Polaków (,,szlachetnego Polaka”, ,,bohatera”, ,,hulaki”) Niemek i Niemców (ułożonych, porządnych) ich miłosnych historii ulegał na przełomie lat dziewiętnastego wieku przeogromnym przemianom. Przeciwstawienie sobie dwóch obrazów postaci, pozytywnego i negatywnego; gdzie obydwa nie pozbawione stereotypowych zabarwień zyskiwały sobie zwolenników albo przeciwników, uatrakcyjniało treści. Analizowane teksty są świadectwem dojrzałego podejścia autorów do problematyki, a zarazem sprostaniem wymaganiom czytelników. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | [ang.]Although literature experts have carried out research on the 19th century German literature by focusing on various aspects they have not concentrated yet on the motif of Polish and German love in literature. This topic was only mentioned in chapters of works, articles, literary sketches but was never given the priority. The starting point for this work was a confrontation with the term found in Fritz Doring’s book ( 1872-1918) “German and Polish Love” (Deutsche und polnische Liebe [1903]). The most beautiful and at the same time the most tragic love story of the 19th century, which was given a large coverage in this thesis, is a story of a great affection between a Polish woman, Eliza Radziwiłłówna (1803-1834), called Elisa Radziwill in the book, and a successor to the throne, Prussian Prince Wilhelm (1797-1888). Her parentage according to the royal family did not equal his so in consequence she was unworthy of becoming his wife. This thesis also deals with other interesting works in which a stereotypical picture of a Polish woman (a beautiful Polish woman, a horsewoman, a cocotte), Polish men (a noble man, a hero, a reveler), Germans (polite, prim and proper) and their love stories underwent a great alteration at the turn of the 19th century. Juxtaposing two characters – the positive vs the negative one where both were not devoid of stereotypical traits acquired either proponents or opponents and made the plot more gripping. The analyzed texts show that the authors looked at the issue from a mature point of view but also tried to meet the readers’ demands. After all, it was love, one of the greatest and most passionate feelings, which made the most popular motif. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | [niem.]Obwohl Untersuchungen der deutschen Literatur des 19. Jahrhunderts unter verschiedenen Aspekten von Literaturwissenschaftlern, und nicht nur, geführt wurden, stößt man bei dem Motiv der Liebe zwischen Vertretern verschiedener hier deutscher und polnischer Nationalität auf ein Vakuum. Zwar erschien das Thema in Kapiteln von Arbeiten, Artikeln, wissenschaftlichen Skizzen, dennoch schenkte man ihnen keine größere Aufmerksamkeit. Als Ausgangspunkt für diese Arbeit diente die Konfrontation mit dem Begriff, welcher aus dem Buch von Fritz Döring (1872-1918) Deutsche und polnische Liebe (1903) hervorging. Die schönste und zugleich tragischste Liebesgeschichte des 19. Jahrhunderts ist die Geschichte des berührenden Gefühls welches die Polin Eliza Radziwiłłówna (1803-1834), in den Texten als Elisa Radziwill fungierend, und den preußischen Thronfolger Wilhelm (1797-1888) verband. Der Abstammung nach, war Elisa dem Prinzen nicht ebenbürtig und durfte ihn nicht heiraten und später preußische Thronfolgerin und Kaiserin werden. In der Arbeit wurden interessante Texte analysiert, die das stereotype Bild der Polinnen (,,schöne Polin“, ,,Amazone“, ,,Kokotte“ ), der Polen (,,des edlen Polen“, ,,eines Helden“, ,,eines Trinkers“) und der Deutschen (ordentlichen, tugendsamen) zeigten. Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass das Bild im 19. Jahrhundert einem enormen Wandel unterlag. Die Gegenüberstellung zweier Vorstellungen von einer Person, einer positiven und einer negativen, welche nicht frei von Stereotypen waren, gewann sowohl an Gegnern als auch an Befürwortern und machte die Texte umso interessanter. Die analysierten Texte sind Zeugnis für eine durchdachte Betrachtungsweise der Problematik seitens der Autoren und zugleich ein Beispiel wie man den Anforderungen der Leser folgen und entsprechen kann. | pl_PL |
