The text focuses on the problems of motivation to change socially unadjusted individuals. It not only
presents the issues of placement, importance and consequences of involvement or lack of involvement
in the process of rehabilitation, but also adds the issue of readiness to change, which appears to
be overriding and defining specific conditions of engagement into a therapy or other forms of interventions.
