| dc.description.abstract | Tematyka rozprawy obejmuje związki semiotyki z ontologią, które badać można w dwojaki sposób: eksponując zagadnienie ontologii znaku (wówczas problemem staje się ontologiczny status znaku wizualnego) bądź strategie „ontologizacji” semiotyki jako dyscypliny (czego konsekwencją jest konieczność rewizji wybranych stanowisk teoretycznych w ramach semiotyki i filozofii). Celem rozprawy jest możliwie szerokie omówienie aspektów przedstawienia ikonicznego w optyce semiotycznej. Za kryterium selekcji materiału i przeprowadzenia wywodu obrano status znacznego, znaczącego i ich wzajemnych relacji w ramach obrazu, w wyniku czego wyróżniono kolejno: 1/ relacje między tekstem a obrazem (rozdział I) – omówione zostają tu retoryki wizualne, strategie przezwyciężenia perspektywy lingwistycznej w semiologicznym namyśle nad obrazem, a także kwestie odczuwania obrazu; 2/ znaczone obecne w znaczącym (rozdział II), gdzie podejmuje się problematykę symbolu i desymbolizacji; 3/ znaczone bezpośrednio powiązane ze znaczącym (rozdział III), gdzie wyeksponowana zostaje bezpośredniość i połączenie rejestru znaczącego i znaczonego w ramach przedstawienia obrazowego; 4/ znaczące zdematerializowane, gdzie omówiony zostaje problem obrazu cyfrowego jako takiego, aa także przejście od analogowości ku digitalności; 5/ znaczone w optyce ontologicznej i metafizycznej (rozdział V), gdzie zatrzymano się nad metafizycznym „zapleczem” semiotyki, omówiono wybrane aspekty semiotyki Ch. S. Peirce’a i projekt realizmu spekulatywnego oraz humanistyki zorientowanej ontycznie. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | The subject of the dissertation are relations between semiotics and ontology, which can be analyzed both by focusing on sign’s ontology (then the ontological status of visual sign becomes the main subject of research) and by emphasizing the ways of “ontologization” the semiotics itself (and, consequently, by reviewing selected semiotic and philosophical concepts). The main aim of the dissertation is to describe and analyze iconic representation in the semiotic point of view. The signified’s and signifier’s status as well as the relations between them as a part of an image have been chosen an a criterion of material selection. As a result there have been singled out: 1/ relations between text and image (chapter I) – here are presented so called visual rhetorics, ways of overcoming the linguistic perspective of semiological image studies as well as issues connected with sensual perception ; 2/ the signified which is a real part of the signifier (chapter II), the problem of symbol and desymbolisation is presented here; 3/ the signified connected with the signifier directly (chapter III), which shows the directness combination of signified and signifier within the image plane; 4/ the dematerialization of the signifier (chapter IV), which introduces the issue of the digital image and the transformation from analogue to the digital system; 5/ the signified in the ontological and metaphysical point of view (chapter V), which includes the metaphysical basis of semiotics, presents Ch. S. Peirce semiotics and the idea of the speculative realism as well as the object-oriented humanities. | pl_PL |
