Item Doradztwo zawodowe w perspektywie całożyciowego uczenia się(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2016) Solarczyk-Ambrozik, EwaThis study aims to present a variety of issues as part of lifelong learning discourse in connec- tion with career counselling. These two notions, i.e. lifelong learning and career counselling, outline the perspective of the papers included in this volume and serve as the basis of the theoretical framework. Globalisation, technological advances, changes in the field of work, cultural change, complexity and uncertainty as common features of the contemporary world: these all pose challenges for individuals and societies. These issues form the background for the analysis of lifelong learning and career counselling, career planning as a process in the context of the changing labour market, which provides both an opportunity but also the neces- sity to choose from a variety of educational offers, within the institutional system and outside it. Lifelong learning is presented as a dominant feature of educational discourse, one which plays an important role in economic debates regarding the labour market, productivity and unemployment. This volume provides theoretical frameworks for the issues analysed, which are also presented against the background of significant features of the contemporary labour market and certain social situations as they provide the context for educational and counsel- ling strategies and activities.Item Dynamika zmian w obszarze pracy a rozwój studiów karierowych(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2018) Solarczyk-Ambrozik, EwaThe widely accepted definition which relates a career to an individual’s experience acquired during work, places it in the social space and in a specific time. The contextual and individual perspective provides an insight into the interrelationships between individual agency and the limiting or stimulating aspects of the social context. In career studies, it is emphasized that the concept of a career should be related to the category of work, because career is one of the key concepts used in Western societies of the twentieth century to describe the history of work understood as employment, despite the fact that new career theories go beyond this area of reference. The article discusses the development of career studies that reflect the transformation of the work environment. Attention is paid to the dynamic transformations in this environment are a background to changing career patterns and the relevant studies. The genealogical roots of contemporary career theories are shown, with special emphasis on their transdisciplinary nature. The article moreover focuses on problem areas inspired by the 1970s, which proved catalytic for modern career studies. The article concludes with reflections on the extent to which changes occurring in the area of work, and in particular experiencing discontinuities, pose a challenge to the fundamental principles and standards on which the theories, research and practices in the field of careers are based.Item Edukacyjne obiekty w cyberparkach: Analiza Pool of Examples projektu COST Action TU1306(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2020-12) Kruszwicka, Agnieszka; Duszczak, Maria; Klichowski, Michał; Solarczyk-Ambrozik, Ewa; Christoph, Monika; Konieczna-Woźniak, RenataKoncepcja cyberparków została naukowo rozwinięta przez europejskich badaczy zrzeszonych w międzynarodowym projekcie pt. Fostering knowledge about the relationship between Information and Communication Technologies and Public Spaces supported by strategies to improve their use and attractiveness (CYBERPARKS), realizowanym w latach 2014-2018 i finansowanym przez European Cooperation in Science and Technology (TUD COST Action TU1306), w ramach którego Michał Klichowski opracował i eksperymentalnie zweryfikował koncepcję uczenia się w cyberparkach, a Agnieszka Kruszwicka stworzyła pierwszy projekt edukacyjnego cyberparku. Item Lifelong learning for labour market needs(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2016) Solarczyk-Ambrozik, EwaThe volume discusses lifelong learning in view of contemporary challenges, in particular those encountered on the ever-changing labour market. Owing to their diverse theoretical and methodological approaches, the volume’s authors have been able to depict lifelong learning as an educational concept and a policy area on the one hand and a variable social practice embedded in a broad spectrum of issues related to employment, work quality, work efficiency and learning within organisations on the other. Learning is also presented as a unique phenomenon described as a way of life and a lifestyle and defined by the constant need to improve one’s professional and other competences. The best way to modify lifelong learning to address today’s challenges in the rapidly changing educational environment is to align it with the labour market. Note, however, that lifelong learning strategies go beyond the purely economic perspective and the focus on adult education. They place much emphasis on active citizenship, social inclusion and personal improvement, all of which reflect the “social existence” of a given educational concept.Item Nowe trendy w teoriach rozwoju karier – implikacje dla poradnictwa kariery(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2015) Solarczyk-Ambrozik, EwaThe article is concerned with transformations of career models, their theoretical explications as well as social methods aimed at solving problems in this area, becoming part of career counselling and mentioned in terms of broader transformations, mainly changes in the sphere of work and the postmodern vision of the world. Detailed analyses deal with new trends in career development theories and they were conducted on the basis of the review of dominant career theories and their implications for counselling methods. Paradigm shifts have been presented, from dominant quantitative approaches to a feature and a factor up to constructivist approaches, thus illustrating new conceptualizations of work life and paradigm shifts in the field of career counselling. Detailed problems shown in the article concern mainly the cultural accuracy of the career counselling theory and methods, the necessity for diversification of research methods concerning careers and their development determinants, integration and convergence of various career theories or diversification of counselling methods.Item Wartości i preferencje związane z pracą u poznańskich robotników przemysłowych(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1992) Solarczyk-Ambrozik, EwaThe author presents the results of research carried out in 1988 on values and preferences connected with work of industrial workers. The research was conducted among workers of major industrial plants in Poznań. Among the researched workers over 90°/o were men. Over 55°/o of the researched workers were aged 25 - 45, while the second largest group were workers aged over 45. Ca. 48% of the researched population had vocational education, while ca. 36°/o of that population were educated at a high school level. The image of values shared by industrial workers reflects a so-called existential-affiliation syndrome, which can be characterized as oriented at three types of values: (i) personal happiness, (ii) foundations of economic prosperity, and (iii) friendship and harmonious relations with the closest environment. The main thesis adopted by the author and confirmed by the research is the assumption that the work situation and personality are mutually Interdependent.
