(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Hampl, Lubomír
In this article I tried to show on the basis of concrete lexical examples which „reflecting reflection” has English lexical unit blue in Czech neologisms as well as in czechized nomenclature using the base blue colour. I also paid attention how the neologisms penetrate to the language most of all lexical and idiomatic in which the rooted objective lexeme of the blue colour appears (in larger or in the smaller degree).

This article presents the results of a study, the aim of which was finding and logically grouping verbs that retain the thematic vowel length preceding the determinant of the past tense in Czech. The research material is based on corpus SYN2010 of the Czech National Corpus. The ten most frequent verbs are included in the list of words examined by the author. Attention is also focused on the verbs with the lowest frequency, which the majority of Czech native speakers consider to be incorrect, or they don’t know them.

The article focuses on determining how Czech’s stereotypical features are present in public discourse on the internet pages of selected broadcasting radio stations. Analysis of the material has been preceded by an attempt of reconstructing the basic stereotype of the Czech which functions in the consciousness of the Poles. The basis for this part of the study are dictionary sources, sociological works, as well as ethnoliguistic. 36 internet articles published in 2013 have been analysed from the linguistic point of view. All of them have been published on the websites of four radio stations broadcasting in the area of Higher Silesia: Radio Opole, Radio Bielsko, Antyradio and Radio Aniol Beskidow.
