Presupozycje pytajne w dialogu medialnym na przykładzie programu »Otázky Václava Moravce«
(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Zura, Anna
The aim of the publication is to examine the interrogative presuppositions in the Czech language in the conversational dialog on the basis of the Otázky Václava Moravce program. Presuppositional questions belong to the class of initiatory calques which imply a question through ascertainment, despite the absence of explicative factors. In the course of the undertaken analysis, it has been noted that the calques employed by the moderator of the program are chiefly inclusive and polemical, with the polemical calques frequently taking the form of attacking calques with the use of the direct address to the receiver and evaluative lexemes. It has also been revealed that the position of the moderator in the conversational dialog in media is dominant, which is validated by the linguistic means of expression.

Człowiek w świetle germanizmów w brneńskim hantecu i gwarze miejskiej Poznania
(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Osowski, Błażej
The article analyzes the urban dialects germanisms in Brno and Poznan from the field man. Cities don’t neighbour to each other and they weren’t In contact never before, so semantic structure of germanisms reflects both the differences due to the nature the specifics of each of the urban centers, and common features resulting from the current perception of reality (among Rother things attitudes to anthropocentrism) or common of historical-social-cultural phenomenons, which shared Brno and Poznan.

    Czeskie »onkání« i »onikání«. Niedokończony artykuł ...
(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Orłoś, Teresa Z.; Bura, Renata
Professor Teresa Zofia Orłoś‘s unfinished article has become a stimulus to write this paper on polite forms in the Czech language. The polite forms onkání and onikání were mainly used in Czech in the 18th century. During the Czech Revival they were not included in the literary norm (the 2nd person pl., i.e. vykání is used), however, in everyday communication they have appeared for a long period of time. Today onikání is used as an element expressing irony or parody. In literature it is used as a means of stylization of heroes’ description, particularly characterizing „simple” people or Jews (e.g. in Jewish anecdotes). The lack of onkání and onikání in contemporary Czech shows that the norm of polite forms undergoes changes. It is not given for good.

The subject of the analysis are tombstone inscriptions as a basic element of the sepulchral space of the cemetery of the Evangelical-Reformed parish in Zelów which brings together descendants of the Czech religious immigrants. The author assumes that the tombstone inscription is a lingual-iconic message of a specific, conventionalized structure which includes mandatory and optional verbal components (personal data, initial formulae, additional information about the deceased, final formulae) and the iconic elements (symbols, images of the deceased). Necropolis in Zelów as a denominational cemetery is characterized by a modesty in decor, which is reflected in tombstone inscriptions: especially the relatively narrow symbolism or final formulae resources coming mostly from the Holy Bible.

Wpływ codzienności na niektóre odmiany slangu młodzieżowego (na materiale czeskim i polskim)
(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Szczepańska, Elżbieta
This article applies to certain aspects of the development of Czech and Polish youth slang. In examining the vocabulary of young people drawn from hip-hop and the lexicon of youth magazines and the Internet, the author notes a peculiar tendency to standarize the vocabulary thanks to the influence of English loanwords in both languages. Characteristic for the Czech and Polish youth slang is also incredible pace of changes taking place in it. It’s probably caused by fast changes in the surrounding world. The described phenomena and trends are part of a much broader issue of globalization of the communication process.
