dc.description.abstractThe main goal of this article is to present issues relating to life orientations on theoretical, methodological and empirical levels. The results of research on youth conducted over three decades show changes in young people’s views, ideas and values. The text focuses on multi-contextual social changes that have a huge impact on life orientations. It moreover touches on the impact of education on the development of orientations. The article indicates the need for re-defining the concept of life orientations as a theoretical construct which is being transformed in the postmodern changing world.pl_PL
