Correspondence of arts in high school teaching. Diagnosis and suggestions
Abstract
Etap ponadgimnazjalny jest szczególnie istotny, gdyż kończy się egzaminem maturalnym i kształci człowieka, który powinien być przygotowany do świadomego i krytycznego odbioru różnych tekstów kultury. Szkoła ponadgimnazjalna powinna zatem stanowić dopełnienie poprzednich etapów kształcenia, a także zagadnień korespondencji sztuk. Praca pokazuje, jaka jest rzeczywista realizacja idei nauczania kontekstualnego w szkole średniej. Rozprawa obrazuje, jak teoria nauczania poprzez konteksty we współczesnej szkole łączy się z praktyką. Reforma edukacji i zmiany wprowadzane w Podstawie programowej zmierzały do tego, by uczeń interpretując dzieło literackie, w kontekście innych tekstów kultury, poszerzył swoje wyobrażenia na temat danego tekstu, a także wykształcił w sobie umiejętność obcowania z szeroko pojętą „kulturą”. Znaczną część pracy stanowią badania przeprowadzone wśród uczniów klas I szkół ponadgimnazjalnych i wśród maturzystów. W pracy przedstawiono też postawy nauczycieli polonistów, którzy w codziennej praktyce szkolnej stykają się z zagadnieniami korespondencji sztuk. Dopełnieniem pracy jest rozdział poświęcony propozycjom dydaktycznym wykorzystującym kontekstualne nauczanie.
Secondary school stage is very important due to its A-level examination and the process of educating people, who should be prepared for conscious and critical acceptance of various cultural texts. Therefore, secondary school ought to become the supplement of the previous educational stages, what is more, the issues of the arts correspondence. This paper reveals what is the real implementation of the contextual teaching in high school. Thesis presents if the theory of teaching through contexts in contemporary school bonds with practice. Educational reform and changes brought by the Core Curriculum were made in order for students to interpret any literary work, in the context of other cultural texts, and expand their representation of the given text. What is more, it helped them to deal with wildly accepted culture. Researches made among first class secondary school students and secondary school-leavers constitute a significant part of my paper. The paper also presents attitude of Polish language teachers, who deal with the issues of art correspondence in their everyday school work. The chapter devoted to methodological techniques, which use contextual teaching, constitutes the fulfilment of the whole paper.
