Rozwój kompetencji pedagogicznych nauczycieli akademickich - potrzeby i działania

| dc.description.abstract | W obliczu reform w uczelni wyższej kładącej nacisk na kształtowanie kompetencji takich jak otwartość, innowacyjność, mobilność, umiejętność współpracy, krytycznego myślenia i uczenia się przez całe życie istnieje potrzeba pochylenia się nad uwarunkowaniami rozwoju tych cech i umiejętności. Jednym z kluczowych czynników wpływających na kompetencje absolwentów, a w dalszej perspektywie także pracowników, są kompetencje pedagogiczne nauczycieli akademickich, którzy planując i organizując zajęcia dydaktyczne w określony sposób przyczyniają się lub nie przyczyniają się do kształtowania pożądanych kompetencji na rynku pracy. W polskich uczelniach wyższych z jednej strony podkreśla się jakość kształcenia, z drugiej jednak strony promuje się naukowo – badawczą sferę działalności nauczycieli, spychając kształtowanie i doskonalenie kompetencji pedagogicznych na boczny tor. Brak wsparcia w postaci szkoleń, konferencji metodycznych, seminariów oraz gratyfikacji za osiągnięcia dydaktyczne sprawia, że nauczyciele często nie mają motywacji, ani świadomości potrzeby zmiany ani też możliwości rozwijania swoich kompetencji pedagogicznych. Celem artykułu jest podkreślenie znaczenia kształtowania i doskonalenia kompetencji pedagogicznych nauczycieli akademickich w kontekście potrzeb zmiany profilu absolwenta. Zamiarem jest także opisanie modelu kompetencji pedagogicznych w świetle współczesnej literatury oraz wskazanie, w jaki sposób kompetencje te rozwijane są w uczelniach zagranicznych. Dopełnieniem artykułu jest także charakterystyka działań podejmowanych w kontekście rozwijania kompetencji nauczycielskich na przykładzie Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego w Poznaniu. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | The higher education reform that emphasizes the need for developing competences such as openness, innovation, mobility, the ability to cooperate, critical thinking and lifelong learning requires analyzing the determinants of the development of these features and skills. One of the key factors that influence graduates’ and – in the long term – also employees’ skills is academics’ pedagogical competences. Graduates’ competences which are desired by employers either are or are not created as a result of classes that are designed and conducted in a particular way. On the one hand, Polish universities emphasize the quality of education that is provided to students; on the other hand, they tend to promote research and a scientific approach. It is common knowledge that academics have not improved their teaching skills sufficiently and that there is not enough teaching staff and no educational development support system that would involve training, methodological conferences, seminars and gratuities for educational achievements. All of the above factors often demotivate teachers and leave them unaware of the need for change. Also, they do not have opportunities to develop their pedagogical competences. The aim of the paper is to emphasize the importance of developing and improving academics’ pedagogical competences based on labor market needs concerning a graduate’s profile. This article also aims to describe the pedagogical competence model and show how pedagogical competences are developed at other foreign universities. Additionally, as an example, the author of the paper describes the staff and educational development at the University of Economics in Poznan. | pl_PL |
