„Rady i przestrogi dla panien”. Polska literatura poradnikowa okresu niewoli narodowej

| dc.description.abstract | Przedmiotem dysertacji doktorskiej jest problematyka polskich poradników dla panien wydawanych w okresie niewoli narodowej. Zainteresowanie autorki tą tematyką wynika z deficytu jakim jest ten obszar badawczy w dzisiejszej historiografii. Literatura poradnikowa była istotnym czynnikiem kształtowania opinii, sądów oraz podstaw w szerokich kręgach społeczeństwa. Na jej łamach poruszano zagadnienia dotyczące niemal każdej dziedziny życia, jednak częstotliwość pojawiania się pewnych tematów pozwala ocenić, jakie kwestie były najważniejsze dla ówczesnych ludzi i jakie problemy nurtowały ich najczęściej. Z poradników dla panien wyłania się obraz idealnej kobiety, zapewnie nie do końca odpowiadający rzeczywistości, ale wytyczający cel, do którego miały dążyć młode damy. Zasadniczym celem tej pracy było zatem prześledzenie ewolucji poglądów na miejsce i rolę kobiety, zwłaszcza kobiety niezamężnej (panny). Badania zawarte w pracy nie odnoszą się do kobiet z wszystkich warstw społecznych, obejmują jedynie panny wywodzące się z ziemiaństwa, mieszczaństwa i inteligencji, które w realny sposób mogły skorzystać rad i przestróg znajdujących się na łamach poradników. Głównymi adresatami badanych w niniejszym opracowaniu poradników są panie stanu wolnego (panny), z pominięciem wdów i rozwódek. Ramy czasowe pracy nie nastręczają poważnych problemów i w całości dotyczą okresu niewoli narodowej, zasadniczo związanego z XIX wiekiem. Zakres terytorialny pracy obejmuje dawne ziemie polskie, które w wyniku przemian politycznych, jakie miały miejsce w drugiej połowie XVIII wieku znalazły się pod zaborami. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | The subject of PH.D thesis is the issue of Polish guidance literature for the unmarried women brought up in the period of national captivity. The Author’s interest ensues from the deficiency in that field at present historiography. The guidance were the crucial factor shaping the opinions and attitudes in the broad social circles. The subjects brought up in the guidance referred to almost every aspect of life, however the frequency of appearance of certain topics allows to determine which issues were the most important for people in those days and which problems mostly engaged people’s attentions. From the contents of guidance for the young maids, the image of ideal woman is drawn up, probably not totally reflecting the reality but creating the aim at which young ladies should make for. Therefore, the principal objective of the thesis was to follow the development of the opinions about the position and role of woman, especially the unmarried woman. The researches presented in the thesis do not refer to the women from all social classes. They refer only to young unmarried women descended from the landed gentry, bourgeoise and intelligentsia who could benefit from the advices and warnings submitted in the guidance. The audience of analyzed guidance are the young unmarried women, excluding the widows and divorced women. Time frame of the thesis do not present any problems and in total refer to the period of national captivity, generally related to 19th century. The area of the thesis covers the former Polish regions, which as the result of political changes which took place in the second half of the 19th century were under the annexations. | pl_PL |
