Abstract
Grupa difenylometylowa i trifenylometylowa (tritylowa) pełnią istotna rolę w współczesnej chemii. Są wykorzystywane jako grupy ochronne, występują w wielu związkach o działaniu fizjologicznym (loperamid, dimenhydrynat) i w cząsteczkach katalizatorów (np. TADDOL, difenyloprolino). Przy użyciu obliczeń z nurtu DFT i spektroskopii elektronowego dichroizmu kołowego został zbadany mechanizm w jaki sposób konfiguracyjnie stabilny atom węgla indukuje helikalność grupy difenylometylowej i tritylowej. Grupą badanych związków były pochodne aminowe i eterowe. W przypadku amin została zbadana również indukcja chiralności na atomie azotu. Wynik jest ogólny i może być z łatwością zastosowany do badań konformacyjnych jak i ustalania konfiguracji absolutnej atomu węgla.
Diphenylmethyl and triphenylmethyl (trityl) group play an important role in modern chemistry. Mainly they are used as a protecting group, but there are many diphenylmethyl compounds having a physiological effect (e.g. loperamide, dimenhydrinate), and also many catalyst particles (e.g. TADDOL, diphenylprolinol) has diphenylmethyl moiety. Using DFT calculations and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) has been shown how chirality from configurationally stable carbon is transfered to configurationally labile diphenylmethyl and trity group. Were examined derivatives of amins and ethers. In the case of amines was also examined induction of chirality at the nitrogen atom. The result is general and can be easily used for conformational studies and determining the absolute configuration of the carbon atom.
