Post-baptismal initiation junior high school students in the light of catechetical materials from the years 2001-2010. In search of an integral model
Abstract
Praca w rozdziale pierwszym zawiera syntezę historii katechumenatu od czasów apostolskich, poprzez przełom 313 roku, średniowiecze, Sobór Trydencki, oświecenie, Sobór Watykański II aż do czasów obecnych. Rozbudowany przegląd historyczny prowadzi do wyróżnienia istotnych elementów katechumenalnych: martyria, liturgia, diakonia oraz postulatu internalizacji wartości. Przeprowadzono także analizę biblijno-teologiczną terminów: wtajemniczenie, inicjacja, katechumenat, wychowanie wiary. Analiza pięciu programów i ośmiu serii materiałów katechetycznych do nauki religii w polskiej szkole w rozdziale drugim prowadzi do wniosku o konieczności zwiększenia elementów katechumenalnych w programie i podręcznikach. Analiza materiałów i organizacji katechezy parafialnej pod kątem katechumenatu w rozdziale trzecim prowadzi do wniosku o konieczności zwiększenie elementów katechumenalnych, zwłaszcza w kwestii świadectwa katechety i treści ewangelizacyjnych. Obraz współczesnej młodzieży zmienia się bardzo szybko przez: wychowanie laickie, sterowaną ateizację, nieskuteczność katechizacji, degenerację rodziny, destruktywną rolę środków masowego przekazu. Obecna sytuacja wymaga zmiany modelu katechezy. Model integralny katechezy przedstawiony w rozdziale czwartym to propozcja połączenia elementów katechumenalnych z postulatem współpracy środowisk katechetycznych: rodziny, parafii i szkoły.
Work in the first chapter contains a synthesis of the history of the catechumenate since apostolic times, through a breakthrough of year 313, the Middle Ages, the Council of Trent, enlightenment, Vatican II up to the present. Extensive historical overview leads to identify important catechumal elements: martyria, liturgia, diakonia and the postulate of the internalisation of values. There was also performed biblical-theological analysis of terms: initiation, catechumenate, education in faith. Analysis of five programs and eight series catechetical materials for the teaching of religion in Polish schools in the second chapter leads to the conclusion of the need to increase catechumenal elements in the program and textbooks. Analysis of materials and organization of parish catechesis for the catechumenate in the third chapter leads to the conclusion about the need to increase catechumenal elements, particularly regarding the catechist certificate and the evangelization content. The image of contemporary youth is changing very quickly by the processes of education secular, controlled atheisation, inefficiency catechesis, degeneration of the family, the destructive role of the media. The current situation requires a shift of catechesis paradigm. Integral model of catechesis presented in chapter four is the proposition of combination of catechumenal elements with the postulate of cooperation of environments: the family, the parish and the school.
