| dc.description.abstract | Artiklen præsenterer udviklingen i Henrik Nordbrandts metaforiske sprogbrug igennem hele hans lyriske forfatterskab, dvs. fra modernismens begyndelse frem til i dag. Analysen af denne udvikling er inspireret af en sprogvidenskabelig metafordebat fra 1930’erne helt op til slutningen af 1900-tallet, hvor metaforens rolle i sproget blev diskuteret. Debatten kan betegnes som en strid mellem tilhængere af den klassiske og moderne metaforteori, hvor de første har defineret metaforens rolle som dekorativ, og de sidste som kreativ. Henrik Nordbrandt er en af de få danske forfattere, der også har leveret bidrag til denne debat. Som digter har han forholdt sig mest til brugen af metaforen som grundlæggende værktøj inden for digtskrivning. På denne måde optræder Henrik Nordbrandt både som teoretiker og praktiker på metaforområdet, og hans generelle bidrag til den moderne metaforforståelse betegnes som yderst væsentligt. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | The article departs from the 20th century's academic discussion devoted to the notion of metaphor. The discussion has developed two contradictory claims concerning the role of metaphors in language. One of them considers metaphor as a linguistic decoration or ornament of poetry, whereas the other one enhances its visional and cognitive properties. In the light of this argument, the article presents the development in the use of metaphors throughout the works of one of the most prominent contemporary Danish poets, Henrik Nordbrandt. Henrik Nordbrandt's deeply reflective approach to the role of metaphor has notably marked his poetry since his debut in 1966 until today. The article investigates the use of metaphors in several poems selected from 3 successive phases in Nordbrandt's poetic career. On the basis of his study the author attempts to point out the major changes in Henrik Nordbrandt's understanding of the role of metaphors in poetry, as well as define his general contribution to the mentioned discussion on the properties of metaphors. | pl_PL |
