| dc.description.abstract | Rozprawa poświęcona jest zagadnieniu adaptacji filmowych i telewizyjnych prozy Jane Austen, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Dumy i uprzedzenia. Autorka, odwołując się do koncepcji recepcji produktywnej i estetyki filmu (Wernera Faulsticha) oraz seryjności wielokrotnej adaptacji filmowej (Alicji Helman), by dokonać analizy porównawczej kolejnych ogniw łańcucha adaptacyjnego powieści Austen. Praca składa się z czterech części. Pierwsza z nich ma charakter teoretyczny i wprowadza podstawowe pojęcia oraz metody badawcze. Druga część jest poświęcona analizie komparatystycznej adaptacji Dumy i uprzedzenia z lat 1938-1967, natomiast trzecia część stanowi kontynuację badań, uwzględniając realizacje filmowe z lat 1980-2005. Ostatni rozdział pracy pełni funkcję syntezy dotychczasowych rozważań, na przykładzie motywu epistolarnego ukazując różnice pomiędzy tendencjami produkcyjnymi poszczególnych adaptacji filmowych i telewizyjnych. The dissertation is dedicated to the issue of film and television adaptations of Jane Austen's prose, with a particular focus on Pride and Prejudice. The author draws on Werner Faulstich's concepts of productive reception and film aesthetics, as well as Alicja Helman's theory of seriality in multiple film adaptations, to conduct a comparative analysis of successive links in the adaptive chain of Austen's novel. The work is divided into four parts. The first part is theoretical in nature, introducing basic concepts and research methods. The second part is devoted to a comparative analysis of the Pride and Prejudice adaptations from 1938 to 1967, while the third part continues this research by examining film productions from 1980 to 2005. The final chapter serves as a synthesis of the previous discussions, using the epistolary motif to highlight differences in production tendencies across various film and television adaptations | |
