Abstract
Tematem rozprawy są dzieje Archiwum Państwowego w Poznaniu w latach 1945–1989. Instytucja jak dotąd nie doczekała się monografii. Celem pracy jest ukazanie sposobu funkcjonowania placówki od zakończenia II wojny światowej do zmian społeczno-politycznych z końca lat 80. XX w. W tym celu przeanalizowano podstawowe funkcje pełnione przez archiwum w omawianym okresie: gromadzenie, zabezpieczanie, ewidencjonowanie, opracowywanie i udostępnianie materiałów archiwalnych oraz działalność naukową. Praca składa się ze wstępu, sześciu rozdziałów, zakończenia oraz bibliografii, wykazu skrótów, tabel i schematów. Podstawę źródłową pracy stanowiły materiały archiwalne zgromadzone w Archiwum Państwowym w Poznaniu, zwłaszcza akta własne jednostki. Największe znacznie miały sprawozdania i plany. Przeanalizowano również materiały archiwalne zgromadzone w Archiwum Zakładowym Naczelnej Dyrekcji Archiwów Państwowych, Archiwum Akt Nowych, Oddziałowym Archiwum Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej w Poznaniu oraz w Archiwum Polskiej Akademii Nauk w Poznaniu. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na protokoły pokontrolne, korespondencję służbową i półprywatną oraz akta osobowe pracowników archiwum. Uzupełnieniem kwerendy w materiałach źródłowych i obowiązujących wówczas aktach prawnych była literatura przedmiotu.
The subject of the dissertation is the history of the State Archives in Poznań in the years 1945–1989. The institution has not yet had a monograph. The aim of the work is to show how the institution operated from the end of World War II to the socio-political changes of the late 1980s. For this purpose, the basic functions performed by the archive in the discussed period were analyzed: collecting, securing, recording, processing and making available archival materials and scientific activity. The work consists of an introduction, six chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography, a list of abbreviations, tables and diagrams. The source basis for the work were archival materials collected in the State Archives in Poznań, especially the unit's own files. Annual reports and plans were of the greatest importance. Archival materials collected in the Archive of the General Director of the State Archives, the Archive of Modern Records, the Branch Archive of the Institute of National Remembrance in Poznań and the Archives of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań were also analyzed. Particular attention was paid to post-inspection reports, official and semi-private correspondence, and personal files of archive employees. The search in source materials and legal acts in force at that time was complemented by literature on the subject.
