Music therapy in the process of the developement support and the therapy of children and teenagers with the severe mental disabilities
Abstract
Praca doktorska porusza zagadnienia związane z wykorzystaniem muzykoterapii w procesie wspomagania rozwoju oraz terapii dzieci oraz młodzieży z głębszą niepełnosprawnością intelektualną. W jej części teoretycznej znajdują się treści dotyczące dziecka z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną i jego miejsca w procesach edukacyjno-terapeutycznych. Na dalszym etapie omówiono teoretyczne założenia działań arteterapeutycznych. Przede wszystkim skupiono się na przedstawieniu terapeutycznych walorów oddziałania muzyki na człowieka, jak również wskazano na metody oraz formy muzykoterapii. Wprowadzenie do części badawczej pracy doktorskiej stanowi rozdział dotyczący metodologii badań empirycznych. Omówiono w nim cel badań, problemy badawcze, zmienne i ich definicje oraz wskaźniki zmiennych. Scharakteryzowano także metody, techniki oraz narzędzia badawcze. Ponadto opisano próbę badawczą, a także wskazano na sposoby opracowania wyników. W dalszej części pracy doktorskiej znalazły się treści związane z interpretacją danych empirycznych. Zanalizowano takie zagadnienia jak: organizacja zajęć muzykoterapeutycznych w placówkach edukacyjnych dla dzieci i młodzieży z głębszą niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w Wielkopolsce oraz przygotowanie merytoryczne oraz praktyczne umiejętności osób prowadzących muzykoterapię. Poddano analizie czynniki determinujące aktywność uczestników oraz zmiany w ich funkcjonowaniu w procesie terapii muzyką. Pracę kończą wnioski i implikacje oraz prognozy wysunięte przez autora na podstawie badań własnych.
The doctorate work focuses on the issues regarding using of the music therapy in the process of developement support and the therapy of children and teenagers with severe mental disabilities . In the theoretical part there are the contents regarding a child with a mental disability and his role in educational and therapeutic processes. The next stage concerns the theoretical presumptions of the art therapy. First of all one has focused on the presenting the therapeutic adventages of the music influence on people, but there are also some methods and music therapy forms mentioned. The introduction to the investigative part of the doctorate work is included in the chapter regarding the methodology of the empirical research. It treats about the aim of the research, its problems, the variables and their definitions and the indicators of the variables. One has also described methods, techniques and research tools. Moreover, one has desribed the research sample and the ways of results elaboration. In the next part of the doctorate work there are some contents regarding the inerpretation of the empirical data. One has analyzed the issues such as: organizing music therapy lessons in the educational institiutions for children and teenagers with severe mental disabilities in Wielkopolska and the essential preparing and practical skills of people leading music therapy. Factors determining the activity of the participants and changes in their work in the music therapy process have been also analyzed. At the end of the work there are some conlusions and some implications and also some prognosis drawn by the author which are based on her own research.
