| dc.description.abstract | Celem rozprawy jest wieloaspektowa charakterystyka wybranych problemów tłumaczeniowych zaobserwowanych w polskich przekładach tekstów reprezentujących najważniejsze nurty teoretyczne w humanistyce od lat 60. XX wieku (poststrukturalizm i dekonstrukcja, gender studies, queer studies, postkolonializm). Znacząca większość omawianych przekładów została opublikowana w latach 1985-2005. Praca wpisuje się w nurt badań nad „wędrówkami teorii”, który koncentruje się na śledzeniu trajektorii i zastosowań pojęć oraz koncepcji przemieszczających się między językami i kulturami, ale dużą wagę przywiązuje do skomentowania teoretycznych implikacji konkretnych rozwiązań zastosowanych w przekładach. Poszczególne części rozprawy poświęcone są analizie wybranych polskich przekładów słynnych i wpływowych tekstów Jacques’a Derridy, Rolanda Barthes’a, Edwarda Saida i Judith Butler. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the thesis was to characterize various translation-related problems in the selected Polish translations of texts representing the most important theoretical currents in the humanities since the 1960s (poststructuralism and deconstruction; gender studies and queer studies; postcolonial studies). The vast majority of translations that are commented on was published between 1985 and 2005. The thesis draws inspiration form the research on ‘travelling theory’ which examines the trajectories and usages of concepts and ideas that circulate across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Nevertheless, the focus is on the theoretical implications of specific solutions adopted in the selected translations. The four parts of the thesis analyze translations of the well-known, influential works by Jacques Derrida, Roland Barthes, Edward Said and Judith Butler. | pl |
