Kalendarz św. św. Cyryla i Metodego

Abstract

Praca doktorska ,,Kalendarz św. św. Cyryla i Metodego” dotyczy almanachu wydawanego przez bułgarskich katolików w latach 1917-1950. Jej celem było przede wszystkim uporządkowanie publikowanych w kalendarzu materiałów, jak również ukazanie funkcji, które kalendarz ten pełnił w katolickiej społeczności. Jako pierwsze omówione zostały stałe rubryki periodyku, następnie pojawiające się tylko w części numerów. Jako ostatnie zaprezentowano te teksty, których wspólną cechą była głównie tematyka. W pracy ukazane zostały także funkcje, które pełnił ,,Kalendarz”, a więc przede wszystkim funkcja informacyjna, moralizatorska, dydaktyczna, umacniająca pobożność i integracyjna. W zamyśle wydawców kalendarz miał być także lekturą dla całej rodziny, czytaną dla przyjemności i pouczenia. Ponadto prezentowane materiały mogą współczesnemu czytelnikowi dać przynajmniej częściowe wyobrażenie o bułgarskiej katolickiej mniejszości w pierwszej połowie XX w. Stanowi także swego rodzaju monografię.

The aim of dissertation is to portray ,,Calendar of St. Cyril and Methodius”. This periodical was being published from 1917 to 1950 by the Bulgarian catholic association ,,Добрия печат”. This doctoral dissertation is divided into four chapters. In the first there is presented history of periodical and its layout. The second chapter present sections which appeared in more than half of all the issues of ,,Calendar”. The third chapter is devoted to the sections which appeared only in some issues. The last chapter is divided into subsections presents problems which appeared in various texts and articles, but were not included in three previous ones. Presenting individual sections or themes and problems in various articles, I tried to focus on the ways these articles and texts could influence readers. First of all, it plays informative function, but also moralistic and didactic function. Many texts were meant to deepen religiousness and faith in the faithful. ,,Calendar of St. Cyril and Methodius” also played a role of consolidation.
