| dc.description.abstract | Artykuł ukazuje zagadnienie handlu ludźmi w Europie jako wyzwanie dla bezpieczeństwa, na podstawie raportów opublikowanych przez Biuro Narodów Zjednoczonych ds. Narkotyków i Przestępczości oraz Unię Europejską. Przedstawiona została definicja handlu ludźmi, dokumenty międzynarodowe dotyczące handlu ludźmi, takie jak Protokół z Palermo i Konwencja Rady Europy. Ponadto ukazano cele handlu ludźmi w Europie i profil ofiar, jak również skalę zjawiska w Europie, z podziałem na Europę Zachodnią i Południową oraz Europę Środkową i Południowo-Wschodnią, a także oddzielnie – Unię Europejską. Następnie zarysowano podobieństwa i różnice w procederze handlu ludźmi w Europie w porównaniu z innymi regionami świata w latach 2012–2020, profil przestępczości w związku ze współczesnym niewolnictwem, a także politykę państw regionu wobec tego problemu. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The article presents the issue of trafficking in people in Europe as the challenge for security, on the basis of the reports published by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime as well as the European Union. The article discusses a definition of human trafficking and international documents on human trafficking, such as the Palermo Protocol and one of the Conventions of the European Council. Moreover, the article shows purposes of human trafficking, the profile of victims, as well as the scale of phenomenon in Europe, including the division into Western and Southern Europe, and Central and South-Eastern Europe, and separately the European Union. Afterwards, the article highlights similarities and differences in this dirty business in Europe and other regions of the world between 2012 and 2020, as well as the criminal profile of contemporary slavery and the policy of European countries in the area concerned. | pl |
