Item Ceny mięsa na rynku światowym i ich wpływ na polski eksport(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1966) Dietl, Jerzy; Tetzlaw, JerzyThe prices of beef and cattle on the markets of Italy and Western Germany were analyzed in this paper over the period of 1950—1964. This analysis constitutes a basis for determining the prospects of the development up to 1970. The nominal and real prices were taken into consideration. There is a reasonable rising tendency for cattle prices on the Italian market. This market shows a considerable increase of demand for beef. The production has a rising tendency which will be maintained probably over the next years. These reasons and the advancing integration process of the Common Market are limiting to some extent the possibilities of Polish export. However, this export will have a chance to develop under the condition of further improvement of its quality. The rising price tendency has also been observed in Western Germany, but it is much slower than in Italy. The Western Germany's market sets higher requirements, offers lower prices and presents potentially a lower import demand for cattle and beef. However, at the same time this market is less vulnerable to downward price movements. Thus, it may present an aditional outlet for Polish cattle and beef export.Item Elementy rynku produktów rolnych(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM) Dietl, JerzyItem Informacja i badania marketingowe jako podstawa podejmowania decyzji(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1980) Dietl, JerzyBasic aims and characteristic features of marketing information necessary for decision making. Diagnosis and prognosis of marketing researches in Poland. In particular different variants of areas of application and techniques of marketing research adequate for: different assumptions concerning evironmental variables, time factor (short and long run) and level of management on which the decisions are made were underlined. As a result pragmatic conclusions pertaining to necessary changes in the planning and management system were formulated. Different sources and means of communication were characterized. That analisis gave the posibility to determine the role of which types of information would increase or decrease in the future.Item Koncentracja przestrzenna zaopatrzenia ludności wiejskiej w okręgach uprzemysławianych(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1968) Dietl, JerzyThe widening contact of rural population of industrializing districts with the main town creates conditions for concentrating services and trade within an area. It constitutes one of the factors for transforming the rural settlement network in industrializing regions. They can be distinguished as: areas directly influence by the combination of enterprises, areas less influenced and those which are indirectly influenced. The results of a census taken among consumers in the industrializing micro-region of Konin, market statistics and the results of an analysis of commercial enterprises' activities suggest the. postulate of a three degree concentration of a retail trade area. The first degree embraces the large general stores, the second local trade in economic centers. I propose the creation of a large trade concentration facilitating the servicing of a fairly large area and effective competition with the main town of the region. The greatest concentration of trade should take place in the chief town in the area. In the majority of industrializing districts the significance of the maim towns as centers of social-economic concentration will increase and consitiute a factor counteracting the forming of rural trade and service centers. The development of small towns is limited and to a certain extent the creation of new centers of economy would be purposeless.Item Lokalny rynek produktów rolnych(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM) Dietl, JerzyItem Rola gospodarstw domowych na rynku(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1968) Dietl, JerzyThe aim of this article is to characterize the relations between variable factors resulting from the economic development and the organization and economy of housekeeping. It has been indicated that the role of individual consumer as receiver is not so important in the market and that housekeeping acquires real importance in this field. The increase of this significance depends on such factors as: the development of industry, demographic changes, changes in the professional structure of the population, urbanization, increase of population's income level and the levelling of its distribution, and finally the consumer's attitudes. Supply seems to be the most important among the activities effected in housekeeping. Howover commercial services are in considerable disproportion with the needs in this field. This disproportion constitutes a basic obstacle in the rationalization process of housekeeping.Item Rola handlu w procesie rozwoju gospodarczego Polski Ludowej(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1964) Dietl, Jerzy; Magott, KazimieraItem Siła nabywcza ludności w okręgach uprzemysławianych(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1968) Dietl, JerzyThis report presents how the purchasing capacity of the population of selected industrial districts in Poland is developing. Attention is drawn to a certain degradation of agriculture in these districts, resulting from a disproportion in agricultural and non-agricultural revenues. The analysis comprises the period between 1951—1965 and some data concerning the years 1966 and 1967. For comparison the area includes a number of districts from various microregions under industrialization. The dynamic and spatial aspects show the global real revenues and income per inhabitant in the districts studied. A clear though differentiated balanced disproportion in the buying capacity per inhabitant is found in the separate districts in relation to the averagje values of the whole country. Note is taken of problems associated with that part of the global revenue which falls on people engaged in socialized economy as well as of the incomes per member in a household. The rate of savings and their influence on the population's consumption fund is also presented.Item Tendencje rozwojowe rynku produktów rolnych w długim okresie czasu(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1960) Dietl, JerzyItem Uwarunkowania wyposażenia i zapotrzebowania gospodarstw chłopskich na dobra trwałe konsumpcyjne oraz ich znaczenie w motywacji produkcji(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1987) Dietl, Jerzy; Gregor, BogdanIt is a fragment of wider studies concerning adaptation processes of private farms in conditions of the centrally planned economy in economics of shortage. The studies were conducted by means of a questionnaire interview among 965 farms in three regions of Poland characterized with different levels of agricultural production development. The sample was drawn from each one of the eight farm-size brackets separately in particular microregions. There were taken into account interrelationships between the equipment and demand for 12 durable consumer goods approached in terms of the number of possessed durable goods and separately in terms of value expressed synthetically, on the one hand, and 24 variables, on the other hand. The questionnaires were also to provide information about the place of dwelling (region and village), demographic structure of the family, characteristics of a farm, its connections with the market, and propensity of the farmer to expand production. 21 of the variables revealed a very highly significant statistical correlation with the analyzed phenomena and one variable a highly significant correlation. Apart from the significance level there were applied statistical tests in the form of corrected C. Pearson's coefficient and variance ratio test F. The studies indicate, among others, that equipment of farms with consumer durables and possibilities of satisfying demand for these goods constitute a significant motivation for production. The size and equipment of a farm with production factors, its self-dependence and propensity to expand production are interrelated with its equipment with consumer durables and with its demand. Differences among farms with regard to their equipment with these goods tend to grow.
