Dzieci jako adresaci i odbiorcy reklam telewizyjnych
(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Starosta, Anna Maria
Living in XXI century, experiencing personally technological and psycho – social changes that modern world provides us with, usually we cannot see many phenomena. One of them is undoubtedly the impact of TV commercials on children’s personality development process. – Yet, it has become one of the most important factors affecting the child in the process of the social – economic development that exerts great influence on the way of thinking and behavior. It mainly results from the fact that children today live in a world completely different from previous generations to such an extent that more and more often their childhood is described as „television childhood”. The child starts to experience the television (and what comes with it – TV commercials) at home continues throughout the childhood and his youth. A particular concern is the fact that children nowadays have a contact with the medium very early – it starts once their level of development allows them to focus on the screen for some (not long though) time. The range of their contact with the small screen is very wide – what is the most important – it is systematic, daily, lasting for many hours, it has the multifaceted nature and individual character.

There are two main subjects raised in the article, meaning the development of the occupation of a social worker and the pursuit to make the work for the ones in need professional. The latter has its genesis in the actions taken in the period of annexation. Trials to nd an efficient method to help people in dealing with life crisis have not been fully achieved yet although lasting over a century. Therefore, there is a question whether and in what extend may the practice of the following decades be used to build the occupation of a social worker, which will gain a status of a profession.

Osoba po przeszczepieniu narządu doświadczająca jakości życia – jako przedmiot zainteresowań pedagogów
(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Cymerman, Iwona
Pedagogy has been recently becoming more and more interdisciplinary, deriving from achievements of others humanities. In modern, complicated world it could be rather impossible not to bene t from such advantage, as it would push aside pedagogy and others elds of knowledge to margin, falling it back rather than giving them prospect of growth. That is why issue of organ transplantation, for instance, although it seems stricte medical problem, now expands area of pedagogy interests. It concerns all the situations having signi cance in experiencing quality of life by the pedagogical entities, so pupils in each age. This text is based on description of experiencing life’s quality of one person, living thanks to liver transplantation. It had been 10 years after surgery when Zygmunt was giving me interview. I hold a second conversation with him, as earlier he had been exchanging with me his experiencing quality of life. For the rst time I met my interlocutor in September 2001, at that moment, he had been only three months after transplantation. Experiencing day–to day–reality of family, work, seeing with medical personnel during necessary consultation, this time were important for me. As a scientist I was interested also in changes that had been emerging and still appears in the context of quality life experiencing, from that moment when we had a rst conversation. Feeling of life sense, recognized values were signi cant for me. Quality analysis, having attributes of phenomenological description of experiencing Zygmunt’s quality life is often supplementing by medical, legal, ethical and religious data. I have done this, so that to in abbreviated way expose issues, shaping new research elds and new areas of educators’ activities in the context of transplantation. Zygmunt’s narrative is individual and for that reason it is not justi ed to make generalized conclusions. In the last part of text I am taking up e orts to justify signi cance of discussed issue (experiencing quality of life after transplantation).

Since the 1990s organized groups have begun to appear in the Czech Republic called „football hooligans”. These groups have drawn the attention of the media, security forces, officials of the Czech Republic Football Association, and the broader public. This text focuses on selected topics associated with the phenomenon of football hooliganism. After a brief history of football hooliganism abroad, especially in England, it will describe the current status of this phenomenon in the Czech Republic. An important part of the text will be devoted to classifying spectators surveyed at football matches into three groups: the broader football audience, fans, and hooligans. Each of these groups will be given a basic description based on previous research carried out at football stadiums. Another goal of the text will be to present the sociological discussion about this phenomenon in the Czech setting, identify the main research avenues, and present some of the sociological studies done in the Czech Republic in recent years. Another important part of the text will be a conceptualization of individual terms, and a brief history of the phenomenon in the Czech Republic, and in the Czechoslovak Republic prior to 1989. O kondycji polskiej edukacji domowej jako społecznego „subimago” (albo o niebezpieczeństwach metaforyzacji)
(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Budajczak, Marek
The paper gives an ironic and short, both empirical and normative analysis of current Polish home education intertwined with a metaanalysis of the role of metaphors in the language of the educational sciences. Entomological metaphor of subimago helps here in revealing the social status quo of the mentioned „home education” in Poland. One can describe socioeducational reality using different forms of expression. Metaphorization is one of them, not always adequate, but indispensable as well as cognitively pleasant.

Prodevelopmental Orientation as a Determinant of an Active Cooperation of a Subject for the Benefit of Constructing One’s Own Career
(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Cybal-Michalska, Agnieszka
The orientation of a contemporary society towards a global career creates the need of rebuilding the frames of human activity and innovation. The most important is active participation and cooperation in a reality undergoing a permanent change. Conceptualization of quality new apprehension of career issues as an individual’s possession indicates a many-sided character of a contemporary discourse, which combines implications of an interdisciplinary dialogue and creates the need to review theoretical reflection about the way of understanding career and conditions, as well as indicators of its formation and construction. The „prodevelopmental orientation” is a remedy for a contemporary human being to be oneself again in this situation in the world of careers. In this attitude towards the definition of „a career”, one underlines importance of constructing (not choosing) a career for designing a quality of life.

Dlaczego dziecko z niepełnosprawnością zwykle staje się uczniem upośledzonym?
(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Gajdzica, Zenon
The presented study aims at the identifi cation of these mechanisms in the area of integrated education as well as at showing possible consequences for educational practice and the development of disabled learners. The first is related to the biological model of disability, which is determined by the notion of physiological norm and for which organism impairment is a constitutive feature. What ranks as priority in the second standpoint are special educational needs treated as a derivative of functional disorders. This point of view is particularly visible in some psychological definitions presenting disability as individual functional disorders. The last perspective of viewing the disabled learner which is discussed here is situated in the assumptions of constructivism. Each of the presented standpoints allows for slightly different handling of the disabled learner’s school problems. In the presented article, the discussed issues are rooted in the last – constructivist approach.

Ciało, moda i tozsamosc kobiety epoki wiktorianskiej – dyskursy piekna i przemocy
(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Gromkowska-Melosik, Agnieszka
The article is devoted to the analysis of the dominant ideal of beauty in the Victorian period. The author defi nes mechanisms of repression and symbolic violence over the body of the Victorian upper-class woman, connected with the phenomenon of social control over the woman’s body and identity. The author assumes that the desire to achieve physical beauty has always been a source of a biographical experience that was constitutive for a woman, a source of a separate identity for her in comparison with a man. The historical changes of the ideals of the beautiful body are expressive of the complex interactions between the social roles of women and the dominant ideology of femininity as well as scientifi c and medical knowledge.
