It mainly results from the fact that children today live in a world completely different from previous generations to such an extent that more and more often their childhood is described as „television childhood”. The child starts to experience the television (and what comes with it – TV commercials) at home continues throughout the childhood and his youth. A particular concern is the fact that children nowadays have a contact with the medium very early – it starts once their level of development allows them to focus on the screen for some (not long though) time. The range of their contact with the small screen is very wide – what is the most important – it is systematic, daily, lasting for many hours, it has the multifaceted nature and individual character.Item Dyskurs obywatelstwa w podręcznikach do kształcenia literaturowego w gimnazjum. In modern, complicated world it could be rather impossible not to bene t from such advantage, as it would push aside pedagogy and others elds of knowledge to margin, falling it back rather than giving them prospect of growth. That is why issue of organ transplantation, for instance, although it seems stricte medical problem, now expands area of pedagogy interests. It concerns all the situations having signi cance in experiencing quality of life by the pedagogical entities, so pupils in each age. This text is based on description of experiencing life’s quality of one person, living thanks to liver transplantation. It had been 10 years after surgery when Zygmunt was giving me interview. I hold a second conversation with him, as earlier he had been exchanging with me his experiencing quality of life. For the rst time I met my interlocutor in September 2001, at that moment, he had been only three months after transplantation. Experiencing day–to day–reality of family, work, seeing with medical personnel during necessary consultation, this time were important for me. As a scientist I was interested also in changes that had been emerging and still appears in the context of quality life experiencing, from that moment when we had a rst conversation. Feeling of life sense, recognized values were signi cant for me. Quality analysis, having attributes of phenomenological description of experiencing Zygmunt’s quality life is often supplementing by medical, legal, ethical and religious data. I have done this, so that to in abbreviated way expose issues, shaping new research elds and new areas of educators’ activities in the context of transplantation. Zygmunt’s narrative is individual and for that reason it is not justi ed to make generalized conclusions. In the last part of text I am taking up e orts to justify signi cance of discussed issue (experiencing quality of life after transplantation).Item Football Hooligans in the Czech Republic: Selected Topics(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Smolík, JosefSince the 1990s organized groups have begun to appear in the Czech Republic called „football hooligans”. The most important is active participation and cooperation in a reality undergoing a permanent change. Conceptualization of quality new apprehension of career issues as an individual’s possession indicates a many-sided character of a contemporary discourse, which combines implications of an interdisciplinary dialogue and creates the need to review theoretical reflection about the way of understanding career and conditions, as well as indicators of its formation and construction. The „prodevelopmental orientation” is a remedy for a contemporary human being to be oneself again in this situation in the world of careers. In this attitude towards the definition of „a career”, one underlines importance of constructing (not choosing) a career for designing a quality of life.Item okładka(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012)Item Dlaczego dziecko z niepełnosprawnością zwykle staje się uczniem upośledzonym?(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Gajdzica, ZenonThe presented study aims at the identifi cation of these mechanisms in the area of integrated education as well as at showing possible consequences for educational practice and the development of disabled learners. The first is related to the biological model of disability, which is determined by the notion of physiological norm and for which organism impairment is a constitutive feature. What ranks as priority in the second standpoint are special educational needs treated as a derivative of functional disorders. This point of view is particularly visible in some psychological definitions presenting disability as individual functional disorders. The last perspective of viewing the disabled learner which is discussed here is situated in the assumptions of constructivism. Each of the presented standpoints allows for slightly different handling of the disabled learner’s school problems. In the presented article, the discussed issues are rooted in the last – constructivist approach.Item Ciało, moda i tozsamosc kobiety epoki wiktorianskiej – dyskursy piekna i przemocy(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Gromkowska-Melosik, AgnieszkaThe article is devoted to the analysis of the dominant ideal of beauty in the Victorian period.
