Polen in Europa aus der Sicht der Pariser Zeitschrift "Kultura" (1947-2000).(Peter Lang, 2003) Masiakowska-Osses, DorotaDer Artikel analysiert die Beiträge der polnischen Exilzeitschrift "Kultura" im gesamten Zeitraum des Erscheinens und versucht, das darin präsentierte Konzept von Polen als der Osten vom Westen herauszuarbeiten. Die kritische Polenvision, die auch nach der Einstellung von "Kultura" aktuell blieb, betont die Dualität der polnischen Tradition, Chancen und Gefahren seiner Lage zwischen Deutschland und Russland sowie die Notwendigkeit einer europäischen Ausrichtung des Landes.Item Ein Spaziergang nach Osten. Zu Wolfgang Büschers Reisebericht "Berlin-Moskau"(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Akademii Pomorskiej w Słupsku, 2006) Masiakowska-Osses, DorotaGegenstand des Vortrags ist die literarische Reportage "Berlin-Moskau. Eine Reise zu Fuß" von Wolfgang Büscher, die eine dreimonatige Wanderung am Anfang des 21. Jahrhunderts dokumentiert. Der Beitrag zeigt, wie der deutsche Reporter den im Wandel begriffenen osteuropäischen Raum in seiner geographischen, kulturellen und vor allem geschichtlichen Dimension wahrnimmt. Er nimmt Bezug auf deutsche, türkische und die deutsch-türkische Geschichte. Ich autorzy, głównie filolodzy orientalni, reprezentują najważniejsze ośrodki akademickie w Polsce.Item Ασυνέχειες ή συνέχειες της ελληνικής νομικής γλώσσας (1974-2014)(2015) Gortych-Michalak, Karolina; Δημάδης, Κωνσταντίνος Α.Languages for Specific Purposes (LSPs) such as Legal Language are parts of national languages. They may be deemed parts of language systems because they are based on certain national, general linguistic grammar and they have become mutually intermingled. Even specific terms used in the frame of a certain LSP is created on the basis of the grammatical rules of the general language; thus one cannot deem legal language may not be considered to be an isolated, independent language. Moreover, even from a functional point of view legal language has rules correlated with its general language as they both describe a certain reality and are used for linguistic communication. Obviously Legal language and other LSPs refer to various realities and specific communicational situations, but their general functions are the same as the functions of the general, ethnic language. These assumptions lead to the conclusion that as any ethnic language can be investigated for their continuity and discontinuity, so LSPs within this general language can be investigated the same way. Moreover such investigations can enrich the knowledge of changes in the specific ethnic language. The study is intended to present the parametric method for investigating the phenomena of continuity and discontinuity from the diachronic (historical) point of view. When examining certain patterns of Greek legal languages the interdisciplinary approach is needed. Thus the investigation is based on linguistic and legal arts and methodology. The investigation is a comparative study based on two groups of textual corpuses. The corpuses are legislative acts (constitutions, laws, decrees), which have been changed during the period 1974-2014. The linguistic and legal-linguistic phenomena are investigated using a comparative criterion. The parameterisation then enables provision of the third element of the comparison "tertium comparationis", which is a set of relevant dimensions. As methodology has an interdisciplinary character thus the results throw new light not only on linguistics, but also on jurisprudence and social sciences. When discussing the results, some fields of application for the results are given.Item Teaching Certified Translator Candidates at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland(2014-08-28) Gortych-Michalak, Karolina; Matulewska, AleksandraThe curriculum of a post-graduate course at the Adam Mickiewicz University has been prepared after an analysis of translation problems occurring in EU legal translations into Polish. An introduction to civil law, commercial law, civil procedure, penal law and penal procedure has been included in the curriculum. A Polish language course has also been introduced as the analysis also revealed that many errors result from insufficient knowledge of the mother tongue. The course includes legal translation strategies and methodology, and also solutions for the most frequently occurring grammatical, stylistic and punctuation problems. Students are acquainted with the rules recommended by the Sworn Translators' Code and the macrostructure of legal texts formulated in Polish and foreign languages and also non-legal texts translated for courts, the public prosecution service and the police. The presentation is intended to show methods applied by legal translation teachers of various pairs of languages to overcome the main translation problems with special emphasis placed on avoiding fatal errors.Item Gry fabularne jako technika autonomizująca studenta(Wydział Pedagogiczno-Artystyczny Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2004) Surdyk, AugustynPublikacja (…) jest zbiorem tekstów poświęconych zagadnieniu autonomii w dydaktyce języków obcych. Teksty te – w obecnej postaci artykułów – stanowią zapis referatów wygłoszonych na konferencji poświęconej temu właśnie, niezwykle istotnemu dla nowoczesnej dydaktyki zagadnieniu. Konferencje tego typu nigdy dotąd w Polsce się nie odbywały. Jest to więc novum na naszym terenie i wielki tytuł do chwały dla uczelni, która podjęła się organizacji takiego wydarzenia i publikacji artykułów opracowanych na podstawie wygłoszonych tam referatów. Dlatego publikację uważam za niezwykle ważną i potrzebną. (z recenzji wydawniczej Prof. dr hab. Hanny Komorowskiej)Item Technika role play oraz gry fabularne na lektoracie języka angielskiego a autonomizacja studentów(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2002) Surdyk, AugustynPublikacja zawiera wybór 14 artykułów zaprezentowanych w trakcie sympozjum nt. „Autonomizacja studentów a efektywność dydaktyki na poziomie zaawansowanym”, które odbyło się w dn. 4-5 lutego 2002 roku w Uniwersytecie im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu na zakończenie projektu badawczego pod tym samym tytułem. Autorów łączy innowacyjność podejścia, ukierunkowana na autonomizację studentów. Artykuły obejmują następujące grupy zagadnień: opis stosowanych procedur dydaktycznych, badania i obserwacje efektów tych innowacji, a także wybrane ujęcia teoretyczne. Zbiór stanowi reprezentatywny przegląd aktualnej refleksji i stanu badań empirycznych w szeroko pojętym ujęciu autonomizacyjnym.Item Postawy uczących się w dydaktyce języków obcych w ujęciu autonomizującym(Oficyna Wydawnicza LEKSEM, 2005) Surdyk, AugustynIntegracja europejska jest z pewnością zjawiskiem mającym obecnie największy wpływ na przemiany mentalne, społeczne i polityczne naszego społeczeństwa. Członkowstwo w Zjednoczonej Europie mobilizuje nas do porównań i weryfikacji dotychczasowych idei i sposobów wprowadzania ich w życie społeczne. Nauczanie języków obcych jest domeną, w której zmiany są szczególnie widoczne, gdyż to właśnie znajomość języków staje się podstawowym warunkiem uczestnictwa w komunikacji europejskiej i, co się z tym łączy, podstawowym wyzwaniem w edukacji młodych ludzi-członków zjednoczonej Europy. Nowe wyzwania wynikające z przemian ostatnich czasów odnoszą się do wielu aspektów w kształceniu językowym wpisującego się w szeroko pojętą edukację. Do najważniejszych zaliczyć można: realizację humanistycznego ideału wychowania i kształcenia, kładącego nacisk na otwartość wobec odmienności kulturowej, tolerancję i wychowanie w duchu demokracji, a także na prawo do odmienności i funkcjonowania każdego człowieka, przygotowanie i kształcenie ustawiczne nauczycieli języków obcych poprzez ujednolicenie tzw. standardów nauczania przy jednoczesnym respektowaniu indywidualnych celów nauki języków, podnoszenie jakości kształcenia językowego poprzez skoncentrowanie działań dydaktycznych na osobie ucznia, tworzeniu tożsamości (wielo)językowej, wdrażaniu do autonomii.
