Zmienność geograficzna śpiewu wodniczki (Acrocephalus paludicola)

| dc.description.abstract | W latach 2008–2011 dokonałem nagrań śpiewu samców wodniczki Acrocephalus paludicola w czterech odległych geograficznie i ekologicznie odmiennych populacjach (Polska: Pomorze Zachodnie, Dolina Biebrzy; Białoruś, Węgry). Na podstawie zebranego materiału nagraniowego dokonałem pierwszego wieloaspektowego opisu zmienności geograficznej śpiewu samców u tego steonotopowego i promiskuitycznego gatunku ptaka. Różnice w śpiewie badałem na kilku poziomach, opisując wielkość i skład jakościowy repertuaru sylab tworzących strofy, testując różnice na poziomie organizacji czasowej śpiewu, jego składni oraz rozkładu energii w domenie częstotliwości. Wszystkie aspekty zmienności śpiewu przeanalizowałem w kontekście ich potencjalnego zróżnicowania ze względu na pochodzenie ptaków z różnych populacji. Wyniki, które uzyskałem pokazały, że obserwowana na różnych poziomach zmienność geograficzna śpiewu może być efektem równoczesnego działania wielu czynników, które niekoniecznie muszą wzajemnie się wykluczać. Obserwowana zmienność w parametrach organizacji czasowej i składni śpiewu wskazuje na podłoże genetyczne, natomiast zróżnicowanie na poziomie parametrów spektralnych można tłumaczyć różnicami w ekologii populacji (charakterystyka zajmowanych siedlisk). Analiza składu repertuarów typów sylab wskazuje na to, że populacje duże i stabilne posiadają więcej cech śpiewu o charakterze dialektów. Odmienna genetycznie i ekologicznie oraz najbardziej pofragmentowana populacja pomorska wykazywała największy poziom zmienności typów sylab, co odzwierciedla jej pofragmentowany charakter i niestabilność. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | In the years 2008–2011 I recorded songs of males of the Aquatic Warbler Acrocephalus paludicola from four geographically and ecologicaly distinct populations (Poland: Western Pomerania, Biebrza Valey; Belorus, Hungary). On the basis of the collected material I made the first multilevel description of geographical diversity of song in this stenotypic, promiscuous and critically endangered warbler species. I studied differences in singing males on several levels. I tested the differences at the level of repertoire size and contents, song time organization, syntax and spectral parameters. I analyzed all aspects of song variation in terms of their potential differentiation related to the origin of birds from different populations or populations with different size and condition. I found out that between-populations differences in song may be the results of many factors, which are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Variability of the song time organization and song syntax parameters indicates their genetic basis. Differentiation at the level of song spectral parameters can be explained by differences in population ecology, especialy habitat occupied. Analysis of the composition of syllable repertoires suggests that large and stable populations sing more characteristic song phrases, which could be called dialects. These dialects are reflected mainly by characteristics whistle type repertoire directed to females, while the rattles directed to males are species uniform. The genetically and ecologically most distinct, Pomeranian population showed the greatest level of variability in types of syllables, which reflects its fragmented nature and instability. | pl_PL |
